Which compact camera should I get?

This has been going on some time, I have been giving a thought of having a compact camera with me. Currently I have some compact camera, but they are really old, like only 3 mega-pixel.  Initially I thought maybe I shouldn’t get something too expensive since I already have a DSLR. Well this is because sometimes it really too bulky to carry my D90 around when I’m having dinner with my friends. Perhaps a $200+ will do. But after giving some thoughts, why not buy a camera with better features, something that I can use for the next 3-5 years?

The reason why these are the selected camera in my list is because I may get the underwater casing for my scuba diving and snorkelling trip.

Do give me your choice if there is a better one are there!

Lazy Sunday afternoon

Look what I just got!

Okay just bought this lens 2 hours ago from a forum guy. This is one of the lens I have been looking for some time. It was pretty dusty and after clearing the dust, I found a dust inside the corner of the lens. There’s no way I will be able to remove that dust inside. Luckily it did not affect the image since it not on the glass. Though saying that, still a little uneasy on my first purchase of a second hand lens. I wonder is it because I’m too fussy? Even my first hand lens I purchased years ago didn’t bother me to do a fussy check. Well I guess I’m gonna return the lens since I don’t know when it will fall on the glass. Kinda feel sorry for him, the lens is pretty okay, maybe I’m too fussy.

After returning to him, I really bad. He refunded me and explain it due to the process of  building the product where the production didn’t clear it off properly. Image is not affected but I’m not able to persuade myself since I’m being so fussy about it. Good bye 35mm T_T

After having the phone for the 3rd day. I feel the sensitivity of the touch is not as good as iphone. Icons were not as nice as iphone as well. The screen is big enough on my palm. I’m still not very used to the layout and the system of andriod. Going to lookup some interesting apps and games from the andriod market~

Christmas Eve Retro Party

Every year, we always come up with a theme party event and this year is no exception. we came up with a retro theme and booked the same hotel at Raffles Place, Ascott Hotel. It  a pity that some of our friends were not able to join us, nevertheless they are always with us. Received a VIP call from our dear Miss Fong that day, an important call from Brisbane wishing everyone Merry Christmas. Can feel she really miss home, hope she can join us soon.

Taiwan & Vietnam Family Trip

December is a month of holiday for me. Went for a 1 week trip to Taiwan & Vietnam with my family. Raining everyday in Taiwan, the weather is very cold with strong winds. Upon reaching it was already 11 degrees!
